In frigid weather conditions and 30 mile per hour winds, the second Wheat Bowl Football Classic was played between two nationally-ranked teams before 3,800 faithful.  No. 22 Baker University and No. 23 Southwestern College truly played to a classic finish.  Baker's Cedric Colbert rushed for 195 yards.  Trailing 28-14 in the third quarter, Baker came back strong in the final period, with the Wildcats' final drive ending disappointingly on the Moundbuilders' 14-yard line. The final score was 28-20 in favor of Southwestern. For the winners, receiver Josh Bradford had 111 yards on seven catches.
